Step into an impactful role supporting student health across a diverse age group as a contract Registered Nurse for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This position offers part-time hours—guaranteed at 25 hours per week—and the opportunity to work with students ranging from early childhood (age 3) through young adults (up to age 22). You’ll deliver vital care and health services within a school-based environment, adapting your approach to the needs of different student populations.

Key Qualifications:

• Active and valid RN certification/licensure
• Previous experience in school settings or pediatric populations preferred
• Confidence in serving students with diverse medical needs, including administration of medications, first aid, and emergency care
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with students, families, and staff
• Flexibility in schedule—availability required between 6am and 4pm to accommodate varying school operation hours
• Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to work independently

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing services to students, including health assessments and ongoing medical support
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to promote a healthy, safe school environment
• Maintain clear and accurate health records in compliance with confidentiality standards
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid when necessary
• Educate students and staff on health practices and preventive care
• Adapt to serving multiple campuses or classrooms as needs arise
