Laundry Attendant/ ShuttleJoin our team as a Laundry Attendant/ Shuttle at the Tru by Hilton Raleigh Durham Airport!At Parks Hospitality Group, we are looking for a dependable Laundry Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating laundry equipment and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of linens and garments, contributing to the comfort and satisfaction of our guests.What You'll Do:Operate commercial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and ironing machines, according to safety guidelines and procedures.Sort and pre-treat soiled linens and garments to remove stains and prepare them for washing.Load and unload laundry machines, ensuring proper capacity and distribution.Monitor laundry cycles and adjust settings to ensure thorough cleaning and drying.Inspect laundered items for quality control, removing damaged or stained items.Fold and stack clean linens and garments, following hotel procedures for storage.Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry room, including regular cleaning of machines and surfaces.Restock linens in guest areas as necessary.Monitor inventory levels and request replenishment of laundry supplies.Adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment.Report maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to supervisors or Engineering.Assist with other housekeeping or laundry-related tasks as required.Safely operate the hotel shuttle, following all traffic laws and company policies, while providing excellent service.Transport guests to designated locations at the airport and car rental.What You'll Need:High school diploma or equivalent.Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is preferred but not required.Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently.Attention to detail and a commitment to quality control.Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy loads.Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.Ability to drive in various weather conditions and ensure the shuttle is maintained in excellent condition.Why You'll Love Working Here:Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits, including medical and dental from day one for full-time team members.Paid time off (PTO) for all team members, because we value your well-being.Team Member Recognition Program to celebrate your achievements.Discounts on hotel stays and dining.Opportunities for personal and professional growth within Parks Hospitality Group, a company recognized as a Best Place to Work.About Us:At Parks Hospitality Group, we strive for excellence in everything we do.
